Lisa Jackson, MS

Lisa L. Jackson is the Associate Provost and Director of SUNY’s University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD). Overseeing a $72 million statewide system, she manages Educational Opportunity Centers and the ATTAIN project, which provide education and training access to underserved New Yorkers.

With over 23 years at SUNY, her career is rooted in community advocacy and rehabilitation. She previously held leadership roles at the Whitney M. Young Health Center, Homer Perkins Center, and Arbor Hill Community Center. Ms. Jackson holds a master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University at Albany and has received multiple honors, including the 2020 NYS Assembly Leadership in Education Award. Driven by a "one life at a time" philosophy, she remains dedicated to community development through diverse, hands-on experience.
