Thomas Tee Jones

Education Associate, Cornell University-ILR School; Criminal Justice and Employment Initiative

Thomas Tee Jones is an Education Associate at Cornell University’s ILR School, Labor and Employment Law Program (LEL), where he supports employer‑focused training and outreach for the Criminal Justice and Employment Initiative (CJEI). A master’s degree graduate of Cornell’s ILR School, Thomas previously served as the university’s Fair Employment Practice Specialist, delivering training on fair chance hiring practices and developing HR evaluation tools for justice‑impacted applicants as well as eCornell course content.


Drawing from professional experience across multiple sectors and his lived experience as a returning citizen, Thomas works with HR leaders and workforce organizations to strengthen equitable hiring systems and expand access to high‑potential, justice‑impacted talent. His work and journey have been highlighted by the Cornell Chronicle, Cornell’s Soup and Hope series, and national media for advancing more inclusive workforce practices.
