Tim Kennedy is the Regional President for Advance Local, overseeing operations in New York, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

In Syracuse Kennedy is the President of Advance Media NY, the publisher of The Post Standard newspaper and syracuse.com news site. Under Kennedy’s leadership, the Syracuse-based operation has doubled its audience and tripled its digital revenue. syracuse.com is recognized as one of the best-read newspaper websites in the country and the Syracuse Post-Standard is recognized as the one of the best-read Sunday newspapers in the US. 

Tim moved to central NY in 2012. He and his wife live in Manlius and their 3 children live just a drive away and love the CNY summer and falls. He is originally from Detroit Michigan. His undergraduate degree is from Western Michigan University, and his MBA is from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Tim is the Board Chairman for Crouse Hospital and is the Board Chairman for the NY News Publishers Association.
